Kolpa Ersin, the son of Kayseri's famous pastrami maker, convinces his brother-in-law to gamble with him using money he won from a six-horse race. At the end of the night, which ends with a large debt, he signs a promissory note on his father's shop. The casino owner, Rıfat, is a ruthless man with various methods of torture. He goes to China with the money he has collected. Meanwhile, Zehra, the girl he has loved since childhood, has broken off their engagement during this process.
