The aspiring legal assistant wants to escape the narrow-mindedness of the middle class. At a beauty contest in a nightclub, she catches the eye of photographer Claus. After he persuades Annemarie to do a test shoot, he manages to get the pictures published in Playboy. Annemarie becomes a star overnight. Under her stage name Angela Winter, she enjoys the glamour to the fullest. But life without limits quickly shows its dark side: debts and drugs lead Annemarie into the porn business.
