While Ikki tries to take in the news, Koji is pleased to hear that Sumilodon should be fine to battle in the finals, however things won't be easy against the World Champion, Victor. Seeing the Robos on television, Miss Caviar recognises Seaslug as the man she fell in love with and tries to talk to him, but when he ignores her she vows revenge, forcing Dr Aki and the Phantom Renegade to let her be Space Medafighter X in the final round. Meanwhile Rokusho learns tyhat Victor has been hired by the Rubberrobos and warns Ikki, who confronts Victor when Mrs Tenryou accidentally invites him home for dinner. During the meal, Victor tells Ikki more about the horrors of the Ten Days of Darkness, but even after hearing his warnings, Ikki is still determined to beat Victor and wim back Orkamar's medal for Belmont.
