The fact is that NGOK had plotted against BIU and finally took his place. KUR has been looking after BIU , hoping one day to fight back. To earn a living, MUI goes seek a job and comes across BIU being captured by NGOK and forced to perform tricks to please the foreign trader, SMITH. MUI gives BIU a hand but is captured by NGOK instead. CHAN comes to her rescue and both slip away. CHAN promises to help BIU regain his influence.
